Deplorable nature of Savietula-Anyanui Road

Drivers and passengers of Savietula-Anyanui in the Volta region of Ghana are complaining about the deplorable nature of their road.

According to the drivers, the potholes on the roads are no longer potholes but rather manholes. These potholes they said, caused damaged to their vehicles, a reason why most of them desist driving on Savietula-Anyanui road but preferred driving on Anloga-Keta road.

Some passengers also shared their grievances with Defender4All that, the poor state of the road always consumed much of their time which delayed them from reaching their destination early. Others too complained about how the nature of the road delayed them of getting to work early.

In an interview with some residents of the area, some women shared their ordeal how the potholes in the road sometimes causes miscarriages in pregnancy or premature labour of some pregnant women.

They continue to said that, they are hoping and trusting, the new member of Parliament, Hon. Richard Kwami Seƒe will hold onto his campaign promises and reconstruct the Akplorwotorkor road for them.

Adding to that, they complained about how the state of the road has become a major contributing factor to the Anyanui market being collapsible.

They are therefore appealing to the government to come to their aid and reconstruct the road for them to ease them from going through all the stress of commuting on the Savietula-Anyanui road.
